Ice Bucket in silver-plated from the famous luxury Savoy Hotel in London built in 1889 by Richard d'Oyly Carte, famous for being the first luxury hotel of Britain with an unprecedented quality standard for entertainment and dining. Monet and Whistler stayed there to paint views of the Thames. 

"8 H / P / 1A / 19603 / Elkington & Co. silversmith marks / G /SAVOY HOTEL". G letter reffers to items produced in 1892.

Elkington & Co. was one of the most important silver manufacturers of England, settled in Birmingham.
