Rousseau Collection

Rousseau Collection

This earthenware collection of dinner plates, dessert plates, dishes and teacups is inspired by the famous french "Rousseau Service" edited for the 1867 Exposition Universelle after Felix Bracquemond engravings. The original service is exhibited at Orsay Museum in Paris and at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. It was famous for its mixing of classic shapes with colorful animals and plants.

The Au Bain Marie Rousseau collection is adapted to modern life and is dishwasher and microwave safe. Edges are hand-painted and pattern chromo printed in different colors.
