Luc Lanel (1893-1966),works with the architect Jean-Charles Moreux and with Leleu, then from 1922 to 1942 he is artistic director of the Christofle house, he creates many models including the goldsmith line that equips the mythical liner Normandy.

Christofle silver-plated champagne bucket for the Compagnie des Messageries Maritime, 19th century. The initials are engraved and represent the Company's emblem, the unicorn and the naval anchor. The handles and rim are decorated with leafy fillets.
