His design for a single-bottle wine cooler was initially created in 1723 for Louis-Henri de Bourbon, Prince de Condé, who served as Prime Minister under Louis XV from 1723 to 1726.

Engraving of Juste-Aurèle Meissonnier, painter, sculptor, architect, and draftsman of the King's chamber and cabinet. Wine cooler made for Mr. le Duc, p. 57 in Œuvres de Juste-Aurèle Meissonnier, 1748.
