Designed by Eugène Millet and produced by Amédée de Carenza for Vieillard in Bordeaux, this 19th-century service features enamel decorations of birds, insects, and botanical motifs inspired by Hokusai. Preserved in major museums such as the Petit Palais in Paris and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs et du Design in Bordeaux, it stands as one of the finest examples of Japonisme in French decorative arts.
