Rare set composed of 15 octagonal pieces, a fine example of the Aesthetic Movement, with hand-painted graphic decorations highlighted with raised gold. They depict birds perched on flowering branches, executed in fine English earthenware, circa 1880.

Condition:
The gilt border shows some wear.
The gold decoration has a few fine scratch marks.
One plate has a very small chip.
