This 19th-century service is signed by world-well-known CFH-GDM Charles Field Haviland. His very high-quality porcelain with polychrome and hand-painted decoration "flowers and enchanting birds" is thin and very delicate. Most of the pieces are marked. This wonderful dinner set arrives to us in very good condition.
Wear consistent with age and use. Charles Field Haviland was born in New York in 1839 -1921. In 1905 the factory was so successful it employed 2500 people!
