Silver plated Tea Set "Solitaire" United-Kingdom circa 1895 3 pieces
A “solitaire” tea set in silver-plated metal, comprising a teapot, a sugar bowl, and a milk jug. The pieces feature twisted gadroon decoration on the body, surmounted by a frieze of scrolling foliage. Marked Henry Wells, Shrewsbury. A very fine Victorian ensemble, made at the very end of the 19th century—perfect for enjoying one’s favourite tea in true style.
