Jacques Adnet (1900-1984), a French architect, decorator and designer, left his mark on his era by creating modernist furniture in the 1930s. He went on to design interiors for prestigious venues in the 1950s. His renown earned him numerous awards, including that of "Maître d'Art" awarded by the French government in 1955. His most famous creations include the Adnet chair and high-quality leather accessories for luxury brands such as Hermès and Cartier. His legacy continues to inspire modern design.
