Duck Press in Silvered Bronze

This famous recipe was codified in the 19th century and needs a specific press to realize the sauce that is also enhanced with Bordeaux wine. This recipe is the top of the refinement of French culinary art.
This traditional press has two movable front and back doors that discover the inner mechanism. The press is very steady thanks to its weight.

Dimensions of each door : 20 cm H x 18,3 cm W x 6 cm D at the deepest bulged part.

The inner filtration cage is separated into different movables elements (see pictures) :
- one lower filter, 11 cm of diameter
- one circular side filter that comes on the top of the lower filter = external diameter 12,5 cm x inner diameter 11,6 cm x height 8,8 cm
- one circular solid part that frames the side filter on the external part : external diameter 14,6 cm x inner diameter 13,5cm x height 7,7 cm

The mechanism of the press is fully functional. The silver plate is in good condition, without fading, but with some slight use scratches, mostly on front and back doors. Thanks to the reflective and shiny condition of the metal, they are barely visible in normal use conditions. Nevertheless, we added some pictures with a specific white background to give you a very detailed view of their aspect.
